![]() #PRAGMATA will take you on an unforgettable adventure set in a dystopian near-future rendition of the Moon. ? Launch is set for 2022 we’ll have more info to share in 2021. So the Pragmata release date is a weird one. The official Capcom channels, like the game’s Twitter, still list it as coming sometime in 2022, but according to a PlayStation trailer at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year, it’s set to come in 2023 now instead. This does make sense considering the immense effects the pandemic has had on developers across the industry, and Pragmata was initially announced just before the pandemic went in full swing. We were supposed to also get more information on Pragmata this year, according to the original Tweets from the game’s official account during its reveal. ![]() Now that could still happen because 2021 isn't over yet, but it seems unlikely at this point, and like the Pragmata release date, the release of more information may have also been pushed back. At Sony’s CES 2021 press conference keynote, two PlayStation 5 game release dates were updated: Capcom’s Pragmata is now coming in 2023, while Square Enix’s Project Athia is coming January 2022. We'll be sure to let you know if any new information is revealed though. So far we’ve only had the one trailer for Pragmata, back in Sony’s Future of Gaming show in 2020. ![]() It’s fairly cryptic and confusing, and looks straight out of the bizzare mind of Hideo Kojima at times, but there is still some information that can be gathered from the strange spectacle. The trailer begins showing us a spaceman, a little girl, and a robot cat that projects the holographic shell of a real feline over its body. Travel to a dystopian near-future and explore a unique lunar world coming to PS5 consoles. They’re walking through a large city, reminiscent of New York, that appears to be abandoned, with cars littered about the streets. In a trailer that looks like its straight-up presenting the next Hideo Kojima game, a man in a space suit walks the city streets, where he is greeted by a girl. Lose yourself in a brand-new sci-fi action adventure game from Capcom, the creators of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. Pragmata will present players with a profound story and setting, as cutting edge visuals take full advantage of next-generation. Eventually, some weird corrupting force begins to warp a nearby building, then suddenly a space satellite comes crashing through what appears to be an artificial roof of glass. Out of the blue, our unnamed characters are sucked up into the sky, and the spaceman uses a large net to stop the satellite colliding with them. As they are sucked further up and launched out of the artificial dome they’re in, we get a close up of the girl's face that highlights her robotic eyes.
