He was proud of his son, Teddy, who served as a Navy Ceremonial Guardsman in Washington, D.C., and loved watching his son, Derek’s, college football games. He loved to hunt, fish, travel, do yardwork with his wife, Rose, and enjoyed actively researching family history. Ken was proud to be a member of the Elks Lodge and Toastmasters. He also enjoyed helping his mom and dad on the family farm west of McCook. He enjoyed his involvement in 4-H and FFA while in high school. After 36 years, he retired as a Developmental Engineer. Ken started working at EH&R (now known as Parker Industrial Hose) in 1972. Together they were blessed with two sons, Teddy and Derek. On August 31, 1979, he married Rose Meitl in Lincoln, NE. He continued his education receiving his Master of Business Administration from Kearney State College. He graduated from McCook High School in 1970 and McCook Community College in 1972.
